ENVIRONMENTAL THREATS: MASS-MEDIA COVERAGE OF NEW CHALLENGES IN GERMAN-LANGUAGE MASS MEDIA

This study focuses on the coverage of environmental threats in German-language media. The methodology this is based ecolinguistic approach, particularly achievements media ecology, identifying harmonization space as a priority for journalism and relevant area linguistic studies. challenges caused by war Ukraine, threat imminent climate change, COVID-19 pandemic. effectiveness their presentation lexical stylistic means becoming research. anthropocentric worldview human being causes significant manipulative effect anthropomorphic metaphor reader helps to promote conscious attitude environment. distinguished models metonymy, used increase emotional plane described content, indicate possibility use tool awakening consciousness. socio- psycholinguistic experiment determined peculiarities German-speaking respondents' reception publications issues.
